October 2020, Qiagen, a German provider of sample and assay technologies, announced the licensed agreement for Hi-C Sequencing technology, and launched EpiTect Hi-C kit. This is a single box solution that require less than 250,000 mammalian cells to generate sequence-ready libraries. It identifies large structural aspect of chromatin conformation and genomic architecture. Thus, technological advancement in forensic laboratories and initiative taken by government for DNA analysis are expected to propel the growth of the market.
